The results are in!
This post is slightly late but after 2 weeks and 6 days of waiting after my final interview. I finally received this email..
It's a waitlist!!!
So what does this mean?
Well this means that I've been approved for a position at Walt Disney World on the Cutural Representative Program, but they don't have a confirmed start date for me yet.
Our international recruiter Sue did say that if you get waitlisted for a position with a potential start date of January, February or March 2018, that you will have to wait until September time for a confirmed arrival date.
Do you have the job then?
Technically not yet, however you are 99% going to be going to moving to Walt Disney World. The only chance of being that 1% is if you're the last person on the waitlist after all the arrival dates have been confirmed with other CRP participants on the waitlist. But you are 99% going to be going!
Again, as Disney love to keep you waiting, I've just got to patiently wait for the next email to come through from Disney International Recruitment which will hopefully be the wonderful CONGRATULATIONS email.
I've been going through this application process for 4 months now, a few months more won't hurt right?
The next post will be all about the waiting game that Disney put you through and also how to cope with such a wait, after all, you could be hanging around and waiting for emails for a very long time!
Until next time! x
